“Although the association between sleep quality and academic performance in adolescents is well documented, most existing studies rely on self-reported sleep and are conducted within a single school system, so it remains unclear whether the association holds when sleep is measured objectively across different school environments. We therefore used actigraphy in three school systems to test whether the association persists under objective measurement.”
